Vision

Dear Friend:

I ask you to support me once again to help ensure the Canada we believe in is possible—one that is ambitious and progressive, a Canada that is led by a government with a steadfast commitment to improving conditions here and abroad.

Stephen Harper and the Conservatives believe in a lesser Canada that diminishes what the federal government can accomplish working for and with Canadians.

For over 20 years I have worked closely with people in our riding of Parkdale–High Park—from the first food bank location in the Junction area, to fighting the Mike Harris Conservatives as your MPP and then turning around publicly funded education as Minister of Education—to good success.

I am looking for a mandate to bring to Ottawa the same determination to make a difference that I have found in our neighbourhoods.

It is time for Canada to move forward—to have better jobs, to enable more Canadians to fully participate in society, to ensure more reliable health care and to create a healthier natural environment. A renewed Liberal Party is up to the challenge, with your support and involvement. Please drop by, call or explore my website. I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Gerard Kennedy
