IIT’S CLEAN UP DAY!
April 24, 2010
10:00am –2:00pm

Please come out and join Gerard with a Community Cleanup at 4020 Dundas Street West (West of Jane St) (#30 bus from High Park subway), followed by a BBQ with Friends, Family and other Folks in your Community

HOPE worldwide of Canada and Toronto Community Housing want to work together with their staff and volunteers and resident volunteers from the Cooper Mills Community to do a Spring Clean Up. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided. The City of Toronto will pick up all the trash we collect. HOPE worldwide of Canada and Toronto Community Housing will host a BBQ for all participants of this event.

The organizers have asked that we dress appropriately in “cleanup gear” and if you have a HOPE t-shirt or either a yellow or blue t-shirt to wear it on Saturday. (Hope t-shirts will be available for sale on Saturday with proceeds going to the HOPE tutoring and basketball program.) In addition if you have any gardening gloves or tools bring them along with you.

Get involved, bring out the family and your friends and see you there!

Other Community Cleanup Sites:

There will be 2 cleanup sites in Parkdale High Park on Saturday April 24th

1. Rennie Park Rink at the foot of Rennie Park Terrace (Runnymede and Morningside Ave area) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

2. Sunnyside Bathing Pavilion. Meet in the park on the east side of the building (at 1721 Lakeshore Blvd).

Garbage bags and gloves will be provided.
